ISLAMABAD, Sep 24 (APP):Superintendent of Police (SP) Headquarters Pari Gul Tareen directed the logistics team to ensure timely provision of essential equipment and facilities to police officers and personnel deployed for the protection of citizens and maintenance of law and order in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Thursday that the SP Pari Gul conducted a special briefing session at Police Lines Headquarters for the team responsible for providing logistical support to personnel performing security and law and order duties.
During the briefing, the team was directed to ensure the timely availability of necessary equipment, facilities and other logistical requirements for officers and personnel deployed in the field.
Pari Gul stressed effective arrangements to meet the needs of police personnel during duty and directed that their operational requirements should be addressed on a priority basis.
She said efficient logistical support was important to enable police personnel to perform their duties effectively and without unnecessary delays.
