ISLAMABAD, Jun 21 (APP):Superintendent of Police (SP) City Dr Ayaz Hussain reviewed security arrangements, deployment of police personnel and route management for Muharram-ul-Haram processions to ensure a peaceful and secure environment in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that the SP visited the procession route and inspected security measures put in place for Muharram gatherings and processions.
Ayaz conducted a detailed review of the security plan, deployment of police personnel and overall operational preparedness.
The SP briefed the officers and personnel on security protocols, emergency response measures and responsibilities aimed at ensuring public safety during Muharram-ul-Haram.
He directed the deployed personnel to remain vigilant, maintain close coordination and perform their duties with professionalism and dedication.
The official said that Islamabad Police had adopted comprehensive security measures to maintain law and order and facilitate mourners during the holy month.
