ISLAMABAD, Aug 7 (APP): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Perveen Masood Bhatti said on Sunday that some elements wanted to destabilize Pakistan politically and economically.

Talking to APP here, the PML-N legislator said that PML-N economic team led by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has revived the economy, but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan wanted to reverse the landmark achievements achieved by the country during past three years.

She said that Imran Khan wanted to become prime minister of Pakistan even at the cost of damaging national interests.

Perveen said that at time when the nation was preparing to celebrate the Independence day, Imran Khan and his cronies were planning to launch protest movement.

The masses had rejected the leaders like Imran Khan in 2013 elections and the Local Government elections due to thier negative politics, she added.

Replying to a question, she said that India was committing worst human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir but the international community had not taken any notice.

She urged the United Nations to take measures for grant of right to self-determination as promised by its resolutions on Kashmir.

Perveen said that Pakistani electronic media was giving prominent coverage to Indian atrocities in IOK, since martyrdom of Burhan Wani last month.

To a question she said that Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) during past few months had taken measures to stop indecent content on the electronic media, which was good development.
