ISLAMABAD, Feb 20 (APP): A unique fusion of poetry and visual art was witnessed at the Satrang Art Gallery, Islamabad, where a solo art exhibition inspired by Professor Mirza Ghulam Rasool Azhar’s poetry collection “Kulliyat-e-Azhar” was held, reflecting themes of mysticism, spirituality and deep intellectual thought.
The exhibition presented the essence of Kulliyat-e-Azhar through abstract calligraphy by renowned Pakistani artist Qasim Bugti, translating poetic philosophy into visual form.
The exhibition was successfully organized through the dedicated efforts of Satrang Art Gallery Director Asma Khan, along with Siddiq Ushman, Professor Abdul Malik and Professor Salma Malik.
The Ambassador of Austria to Pakistan, Wolfgang Oliver Kutschera, attended the event as chief guest and inaugurated the exhibition along with Aziz Boolani, Chief Executive Officer of Serena Hotels.
A large number of members of Islamabad’s art community and distinguished personalities attended the event, making it a successful and memorable cultural gathering.
During the ceremony, Meher Naqvi presented selected ghazals from Kulliyat-e-Azhar, adding a spiritually enriching and pleasant ambiance to the occasion.
