Smart Paperless Digital Court inaugurated at IHC
ISLAMABAD, Sep 30 (APP):Chief Justice, Federal Constitutional Court, Justice Aminuddin Khan, inaugurated a Smart Paperless Digital Court at the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday.
Justice Aamer Farooq of the Federal Constitutional Court accompanied the Chief Justice at the inauguration ceremony.
Islamabad High Court Chief (IHC) Justice Sardar Sarfraz Dogar, along with other judges of the high court, was present with the guests. The Smart Paperless Digital Court was inaugurated in Courtroom No. 1 of the IHC.
The IHC Registrar’s Office completed the Smart Paperless Digital Court project, which was developed by the High Court’s IT Department under the supervision of its in-charge, Umar Rashid Dar, and his team, on the directions of the Chief Justice.
Meanwhile, Chief Justice Aminuddin Khan also inaugurated a public Wi-Fi facility at the Islamabad High Court building.
The Wi-Fi service has been made available for lawyers and litigants at the high court premises.
