ISLAMABAD, Oct 2 (APP):Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman Thursday welcomed the formation of the government’s committee to hold talks with Awami Action Committee (AAC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir over their demands.
Talking to media, Senator Sherry Rehman emphasized that dialogue was the only viable option toward resolving issues.
She urged the Awami Action Committee to demonstrate flexibility and engage constructively with the government’s committee to find a peaceful solution.
“A swift and peaceful resolution is in the best interest of everyone,” she stressed.
She further underlined that whether it is the government or the Awami Action Committee, the foremost priority should remain the welfare of the people and the preservation of peace.
