QUETTA, Apr 15 (APP):Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi called on Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan during visit of Quetta on Monday to discuss security situation for ensuring protection of people after the tragedy of Quetta on Friday which left over 20 dead and injured 48 people.
Adviser to Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari and law enforcement agencies’ officials were also present in the meeting, said press release issued here.
Shehryar Khan Afridi and Chief Minsiter Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan reviewed security situation in the province for ensuring protection of people at any cost.
Minister of State for Interior also expressed his deep sorrow over death of people in Hazarganji blast and said provincial and federal government stand with families of deceased on difficult time and measures were underway to arrest those involved in the tragic incident.
Chief Minister Balochistan also informed Shehryar Khan Afridi about investigation regarding explosions in detail.
