Shehbaz’s ego inflicted Rs 3bln loss on exchequer: Pervaiz Elahi

Elahi has said that former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif’s egoistic politics inflicted a loss
of Rs 3 billion on the provincial kitty in the construction of new building of Punjab Assembly.
Talking to the media during a visit to the under-construction
Punjab Assembly building along with Chief Minister Sardar Usman
Buzdar here on Thursday, he said that the construction of the
new Punjab Assembly building was delayed for 12 years by the
previous regime, only because it was launched by Ch Pervaiz Elahi.
Pervaiz Elahi expressed the hope that the next fiscal budget
session will be held in the assembly building, adding that all
concerned departments should expedite work to complete the job
at the earliest.
