LAHORE,June 6 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz
Sharif on Monday felicitated the nation on Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
“Ramazan-ul-Mubarak is a month of blessings and provides an
opportunity for self-accountability and sacrifice,” he said.
In his message on the beginning of Ramazan ul Mubarak, the
Chief Minister said that this month gave the message of
discipline, obedience to Allah Almighty as well as peace and
He said that people could earn the blessings of Allah Almighty
through fasting and prayers. He said that during the holy month of
Ramazan, such people should not be neglected as deserved help
and assistance.
He said that well-to-do persons should take special care of
the poor, destitute, widows and orphans.
The Chief Minister said that like previous years, the Punjab
government had announced a historic Ramazan Package of billions
of rupees for providing relief to the common man and all out
measures had been taken for this purpose.
He said that Ulema-e-Karam should also play their due role for
the promotion of tolerance, restraint and brotherhood in the
society during this month.
