Shaza Fatima praises PM for role in ceasefire efforts

ISLAMABAD, Apr 08 (APP): Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja on Wednesday praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for helping mediate a ceasefire, saying Pakistan’s positive diplomacy has shown strong results at the global level.
According to a statement by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, she also thanked Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his role in the process, adding that Pakistan’s commitment to peace, dialogue and regional stability has once again been highlighted.
She said Pakistan played an important role in helping bring about a ceasefire between Iran, the United States and their allies, and noted that this success reflects wisdom, patience and strong leadership.
Shaza Fatima said Pakistan’s constructive diplomacy has been recognised worldwide and suggested that the country deserves the Nobel Prize for its efforts to promote global peace and effective diplomacy.
Calling the Islamabad talks an important step towards lasting peace, she said Pakistan has always played a positive role in encouraging meaningful dialogue in the region.
She reaffirmed that Pakistan remains committed to promoting harmony, stability and cooperation, adding that peace and partnership will remain its top priorities.
