ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Friday issued a traffic advisory, informing citizens that Shahrah-e-Dastoor had been closed for traffic due to a protest.
An ITP official told APP on Friday that commuters were advised to use alternate routes to avoid inconvenience and traffic congestion in and around the Red Zone.
The official said citizens travelling to and from Margalla Road could use the route via Bari Imam as an alternative.
According to the official, motorists were requested to avoid unnecessary travel towards the Red Zone and plan their journeys accordingly.
The official further advised road users to utilize alternate routes to help maintain smooth traffic flow and avoid delays caused by diversions in the area.
Citizens were urged to follow traffic instructions and remain updated through Islamabad Police social media platforms and ITP FM 92.4 for the latest traffic situation and travel guidance.
