ISLAMABAD, Jul 22 (APP):Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) successfully held its union elections for 2025 on Tuesday in a highly organized, transparent and peaceful manner.
Employees of the Authority participated enthusiastically and exercised their right to vote to elect their representatives, said a press release.
This year’s elections saw a close contest between the two main unions — Shaheen Union and Ittehad Union.
After the vote count was completed, Shaheen Union emerged victorious with a clear lead of 240 votes.
Following their victory, the leadership of Shaheen Union thanked all voters, the election committee, and the FGEHA administration for ensuring smooth elections.
They pledged to continue their efforts to protect employees’ rights and work tirelessly for their welfare and better facilities.
