Shaheed Zulfikar Bhutto party perished due to corruption: Firdous

ISLAMABAD, Apr 29 (APP):Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Monday regretted that the political party of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had perished at the hands of corruption.
She was reacting to the press conference of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the parliamentary party meeting of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
She said masses had become penniless and hungry, while the PPP buried its ideology and did politics only for their own businesses and interests.
She said, both the leaders of PPP and PML-N had suddenly started worrying about the constitution, democracy and masses, when corruption cases were opened against them.
She reminded PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that when he was only one year old, corruption cases were registered against his father by the person, whom he went to see in jail recently.
The persons facing corruption charges had the same diction, narrative and objectives, she observed.
She said that it would have been much better if the PML-N Parliamentary Party had asked from the missing opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif about the details of the telegraphic transfers and fake bank accounts of his frontmen.
How could a disappeared opposition leader sitting in a pleasant atmosphere in London talk about the problems being faced by people of Pakistan, she asked.
Special Assistant to PM said that Sharif brothers were still worried about their own health instead of thinking about the health of people of Pakistan.
She said by electing Imran Khan as Prime Minister the people had rejected the politics of inheritance and added issues could not be resolved by delivering emotional speeches.
She asked the opposition to inform the nation about their fake bank accounts and assets as they would have to return the looted money to the national exchequer.
She said the government would welcome the opposition’s suggestions for transforming the national economy.
