Serbian envoy calls on Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD, Nov 2 (APP): Ambassador of Serbia designated Melan Becevic
on Monday called on Minister for Water and Power Khwaja Muhammad Asif
here.
Areas of mutual interest and cooperation in the field of defense and
energy sectors come under discussion, said a press release.
The ambassador apprised about the mutual relations once Pakistan and
Yugoslavia had enjoyed before its disintegration into six small states
and hoped that there are good possibilities to develop mutual relation
between Pakistan and Serbia at higher level.
The minister said that Pakistan looking for strengthening of relations
with every country.
He said that there was a lot of opportunity in the field of energy,
defense, trade and scientific and technological development which
would lead for strengthening of bilateral relation.
The minister said that mutual trade between the two countries was
minimum which need to be increased.
