Senior PPP leader Jahangir Badar passes away

LAHORE,Nov 14 (APP)-Senior Pakistan People’s party (PPP)
leader and former federal Minister Jahangir Badar passed away late night Sunday at a local hospital.

The former minister was admitted to a private hospital
after he suffered a heart attack,but he failed to survive.

He was 72. Jahangir Badar,born in Lahore in 1944,served as PPP’s secretary general,  besides other party offices during his political career.In 1988 he  was elected Member National Assembly (MNA).He was elected Senator in 1994  and 2009.

His association with PPP spanned more than four decades.He served as a close aide to late Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
