ISLAMABAD, Aug 02 (APP):Physical endurance and running tests for Islamabad Capital Police Recruitment 2026 continued in a transparent, merit-based and well-organised manner at recruitment centres in Islamabad and other main cities, with senior police officers directing officials to ensure candidates’ health, safety and equal opportunities throughout the process.
An ICT Police spokesperson told APP on Sunday that at the F-9 Park recruitment centre, DIG Security Rana Umar Farooq personally supervised all stages of the recruitment process to ensure that every candidate was provided a fair and equal opportunity in accordance with the prescribed merit and recruitment procedures.
The spokesperson said senior officers remained present at the venue throughout the testing process, continuously reviewing each stage of the physical endurance and running tests while ensuring strict discipline, transparency and smooth management.
Meanwhile, DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq reviewed the ongoing physical endurance and running tests at the Police Lines Headquarters recruitment centre. He inspected security and administrative arrangements and directed officials to complete every stage of the recruitment process strictly in accordance with the prescribed rules.
He also instructed the staff to pay special attention to candidates’ health, ensure the availability of drinking water and first-aid facilities, and provide immediate medical assistance whenever required during the physical and running tests.
At the Lahore recruitment centre, SSP Law & Order/Safe City Captain (R) Hamza Humayun supervised the ongoing recruitment process, reviewed the physical and running tests and administrative arrangements, and directed officials to facilitate candidates at every stage while closely monitoring their health and ensuring a transparent, merit-based and well-organised recruitment process.
