ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (APP):Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, has expressed profound sorrow and grief over the demise of Speaker Sindh Assembly and senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Agha Siraj Durrani.
In her condolence message, Senator Rubina Khalid said she was deeply saddened to learn about the passing of Agha Siraj Durrani, terming it an irreparable loss for the Pakistan Peoples Party.
She said Agha Siraj Durrani rendered invaluable services and made unparalleled sacrifices for the PPP and for the cause of democracy in the country. His dedication and passion for public service were truly exemplary, she added.
Highlighting his political contributions, Senator Rubina Khalid said that as Speaker of the Sindh Assembly, Agha Siraj Durrani demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to democratic values and parliamentary traditions.
She said her thoughts and prayers were with the bereaved family in this difficult time, praying that Allah Almighty grant them courage and patience to bear this great loss.
Senator Rubina Khalid also prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and for his highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.
