ISLAMABAD, Nov 15 (APP): Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, who is also the Chairperson of the Senate Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training, lauded the ‘Science on Wheels’ initiative during a ceremony organized to honor the bright young learners of Park School—an institution famously nurtured for around 42 years by education philanthropist Master Muhammad Ayub.
The vibrant ceremony was organized by the Islamabad Model School F-7/2 and China Media Group, where Senator participated as special guest of the event. The students of both the schools also participated along with others, said a press release on Saturday.
During her address, she appreciated Master Ayub’s selfless services spanning over decades, saying that personalities like him are a true example of social welfare.
She expressed deep interest in programs like “Science on Wheels” and said that these programs are playing an important role to promote scientific awareness among children.
Under China Media Group’s renowned educational program “Science on Wheels”, a caravan van visited Park School in Islamabad, where students joyfully took the full advantage of scientific content, modern science videos and informative activities in the caravan van, the press release noted.
On this occasion, Master Muhammad Ayub shed light on the educational needs and problems of poor and deserving children, highlighting the importance of education. He termed China Media Group’s program “Science on Wheels” as a bright and proud manifestation of Pak-China friendship, adding, modern education is the guarantor of a bright future for children.
Alongside the educational activities, children performed patriotic songs, participated in races, and engaged in various positive recreational activities, adding joy and color to the event.
