ISLAMABAD, Oct 09 (APP):Senator Dilawar Khan was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) on Thursday.
A meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on IPC was held here at the Parliament House, to elect its Chairperson. The meeting was held to elect its chairperson under Rule 184(1) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Senate, 2012.
During the meeting, Senator Dilawar Khan was unanimously elected as Chairman. The Committee members congratulated the newly elected Chairman and expressed confidence that he would effectively steer the Committee’s work in promoting coordination among provinces and strengthening the federation.
In attendance were Senators Niaz Ahmed, Hidayatullah Khan, Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, and Senior officials of Senate of Pakistan.
