Senate session commences

ISLAMABAD, May 20 (APP):The Senate session commenced on Wednesday at 12:15 p.m. at the Parliament House under the chairmanship of Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.

The House was set to take up various agenda items including Question Hour, motions, presentation of reports of the standing committees, legislative business, consideration and passage of government bills as reported by the standing committees, government bills passed by the National Assembly and transmitted to the Senate, calling attention notice, and amendments to the Senate rules.
