ISLAMABAD, June 16 (APP):The Senate session was started at 11:00 am with the recitation of some verses from the holy Quran.
Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani was in the chair. Senator Saeedul Hassan Mandokhail would move an adjournment motion seeking the discussions on media reports regarding the disclosures of a target killer in Karachi. Senator Saleem Mandviwala would move a Calling Attention Notice regarding the import of whey powder and meat affecting over eight million families associated with livestock business.
Senator Col (Retd) Syed Tahir Hussain Mashhadi, Chairman Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reforms would present special report on Sea intrusion causing land erosion in coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan.
Various Senate Standing Committees would present their reports in the House.
The House would continue discussions on federal budget.
