Senate chairman for enhancing trade ties with Brunei Darussalam

ISLAMABAD, Dec 28 (APP):Pakistan and Brunei Darussalam would further boost the economic cooperation to mutually benefit and support each other in education, technical and social sectors.

Senate Chairman Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani said this while talking to the Brigadier General (Retd) Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud Bin Haji Saidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam who called on him here at the Parliament House here on Friday.
Senate chairman said that Pakistan and Brunei shared many commonalities and both have supported each other on international issues.
He said that there was a need to enhance cooperation in economic, education and tourism for mutual benefits of both the countries.
He said that exchange of delegations would further strengthen bilateral ties and economic relationship.
He said that Brunei could benefit from Pakistan in different sectors especially education and training.
He said that both the countries could further cement their relation in tourism, education, livestock and dairy development sectors.
Senate chairman said that tangible measures were required to develop a strong link between business communities and create an enabling environment for investment in mutually beneficial projects.
The High Commissioner welcomed the remarks of Senate chairman and agreed with the views to enhance bilateral cooperation in different sectors.
