Seminar marks July 19 resolution, reaffirms support for Kashmir cause
ISLAMABAD, Jul 19 (APP):The Center for Development and Strategy (CDS) organized a seminar in Islamabad to commemorate the Resolution of 19 July 1947. The event was attended by dignitaries from Constituency 3, Poonch, as well as youth and women.
The seminar was addressed by Director General CDS Dr. Irfan Ashraf, Senior Muslim Conference leader Sardar Nazir, Babar Khajak, senior Hurriyat leader Ms. Shamim Shaal, Dr. Abid Abbasi and other speakers.
The speakers said that the Resolution of 19 July 1947 determined the direction of the Kashmiri nation and represents the aspirations of the entire nation regarding the future of the state.
Dr. Irfan Ashraf said Pakistan is the backer and protector of the Kashmiri people.
The speakers said those who presented the resolution for accession to Pakistan are the heroes of the Kashmiri nation and vowed that no conspiracy against the ideology of their ancestors and national heroes would be allowed to succeed
