ISLAMABAD, Jul 19 (APP):President Centre for Pakistan and Gulf Studies (CPGS), Senator Sehar Kamran has urged United Nations and the International Human Rights Organisations to take immediate notice of severe
violation of human rights in Indian Occupied Kashmir.

In a letter to the United Nations Secretary General Ban-Ki Moon she asked UN Secretary General to take notice of atrocious of Indian brutalities against the Kashmiris and extra-judicial killings of Kashmiris at the hands of the Indian forces.

She said the United Nations as a custodian body had a greater role to play in ensuring justice and promoting peace around the globe and the time has come to address the long-lingering dispute of Kashmir on humanitarian basis.

Sehar Kamran said the voice of the people of Kashmir cannot be suppressed though inhuman acts and violent tactics employed by the Indian State.

“The resolution of the Kashmir dispute is only possible by implementing UNSC resolutions and the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir must get their right of Self- Determination through a fair and free plebiscite under UN supervision”, she added.
