Security forces kill eight terrorists in North Waziristan
PESHAWAR, Sep 24 (APP):Security forces killed eight terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khwarij in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, during an intelligence-based operation and recovered a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and other equipment from their possession.
Security sources said that the hideouts used by the terrorists were also completely destroyed during the operation.
They said the terrorists attempted to use a mosque as a shield to evade the security forces. However, keeping the sanctity of the mosque in view, the security forces carried out the operation with precision.
Security forces remain committed to eliminating militants associated with Fitna al-Khwarij from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the security sources said.
