LAKKY MARWAT, Oct 17 (APP): Security Forces killed eight most-wanted Khwarij terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in the Sultan Khel area of Lakki Marwat and recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives from their possession.
The operation was carried out following reports of the presence of Afghan Taliban–backed Khwarij proxies in the area, said security sources.
The Security Forces launched aerial and ground surveillance in the Sultan Khel and Tofan Wala areas. During surveillance, movement of Khwarij terrorists was detected, prompting an immediate operation, they added.
The Security sources said that during the past four days, 102 Khwarij terrorists sent by the Afghan Taliban have been killed.
