ISLAMABAD, Dec 07 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police conducted a search and combing operation in the jurisdiction of Aabpara Police Station under the supervision of SP City, as part of ongoing efforts to curb crime and enhance security across the federal capital.
An official told APP on Sunday that during the operation, 25 individuals, 20 houses and several motorcycles were thoroughly checked, while three suspicious persons were shifted to the police station for further legal action. Ladies police personnel also took part in the operation, ensuring proper checking of women and family areas.
The official added that a detailed briefing was given to all participating personnel prior to the operation to ensure coordinated movement and effective execution.
He further said the operation was carried out in continuation of security measures being implemented across the city. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has directed all zonal and sector commanders to intensify such operations, ensuring strict vigilance in sensitive areas.
SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza said the primary objective of these operations is to tighten security around criminal elements and strengthen the overall law-and-order framework in Islamabad. He reaffirmed that the ICT Police will continue indiscriminate action against criminals, land grabbers and drug traffickers.
