ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP): Chief Commissioner Pakistan Boys
Scouts Association (PBSA), Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani on Wednesday
urged upon the scouts to help the affected people in earthquake-hit
areas to the best of their abilities.
Talking to the scouts of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and FATA during
her visit to Peshawar, the Chief Commissioner PBSA asked them to
boost their spirit of volunteerism to maximum facilitate the
affected people.
She lauded the social services of the scouts of Peshawar,
Khyber Agency and Matta, who were helping the people in distress
through first-aid, evacuation and shifting of luggage from the
damaged houses.
She also commended Provincial Secretary KP-BSA Islamuddin and
Member National Council PBSA Engineer Saiful Islam for patronizing
the scouts in helping out the quake-affected people.
Chief Commissioner PBSA Raheela Durrani later visited Lady
Reading Hospital in Peshawar and inquired about the health of women
and children who received injuried during the earthquake.
Acting Secretary PBSA Zahid Mahboob, Provincial Secretary
Punjab BSA Muhammad Tariq Qureshi and Deputy Secretary Gilgit-Baltistan
BSA, Wali Muhammad accompanied her.
