The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed a review petition filed by the Sindh government challenging the acquittal of accused persons in the Baldia Town tragedy case.
SC dismisses Sindh review plea against acquittal in Baldia Town case

ISLAMABAD, Oct 07 (APP):The Supreme Court on Wednesday dismissed a review petition filed by the Sindh government challenging the acquittal of accused persons in the Baldia Town tragedy case.
A three-member bench headed by Justice Malik Shahzad Ahmed Khan and comprising Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Shakeel Ahmed heard the case.
Additional Prosecutor General Sindh Saleem Akhtar appeared on behalf of the Sindh government and presented arguments before the court.
After hearing the arguments, the court dismissed the review petition.
The Supreme Court also dismissed a petition seeking deletion of remarks concerning the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
