Sarwar directs to expedite work on development schemes in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI, March 9 (APP):Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan Saturday directed the departments concerned to expedite work on the ongoing development schemes in Rawalpindi for the benefit of common man.
Chairing a meeting here at the Deputy Commissioner Office, he reviewed the progress on different development projects being carried out under the Public Sector Development Programme 2018-19.
The minister said in addition to establishing Potohar University in Gujjar Khan and Gandhara University in Taxila, the government was making all-out efforts to ensure imparting vocational and training education across the Rawalpindi Division.
It was top priority of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government to provide basic facilities and improve living standard of the common man, he added.
