ISLAMABAD, June 13 (APP): Strongly condemning the killing of innocent people in Florida terrorist attack, Pakistan on Monday reaffirmed its support to the United States in its drive against the menace of terrorism.
“We are deeply shocked by the terrorist attack in Florida on 12 June that caused a loss of 50 innocent lives and injured scores of people,” Advisor to the PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said in a letter addressed to US Secretary of State, John Kerry.
He said, “We strongly condemn the wanton killing of innocent people and sympathize with the Government and the people of the United States of America, particularly, the victims’ families for their loss.”
Sartaj Aziz said, “In this hour of profound grief, the Government of Pakistan expresses solidarity with the Government of the USA and the bereaved families.”
“Pakistan, being among the biggest victims of terrorism, reaffirms its support to the US in its drive against the menace of terrorism,” he added.
