ISLAMABAD, Nov 9 (APP): Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign
Affairs Sartaj Aziz Monday assured the Senate that the government
would continue to expose India’s hostile policy and designs on all
diplomatic fronts.

Speaking on a motion, moved by Abdul Rehman Malik to discuss
confession of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modei in Bangladesh that
India played a role in breaking Pakistan, Sartaj Aziz said India’s hostile
posture would be exposed at all diplomatic fora consistently and
effectively.

He said there would be the need of complete support of the House and
the nation in this regard.

The Advisor said Pakistan Armed Forces were capable enough to fully safeguard national sovereignty and interests.

Sartaj said as far as the matter of bringing the issue to the
international court of justice was concerned, it needed a thorough
examination keeping in view all legal aspects.

He said, the Indian Premier not simply mentioned to India’s involvement,
but did it with pride, adding that the role confessed by India in disintegration of Pakistan in 1971 was the violation of United Nations charter.

The Adviser said the international community was taking notice of the
treatment meted out to minorities living in the so-called secular
India.

He said the foreign office had been raising the voice against Indian
involvement in carrying out terrorism activities in different parts of
the country and Pakistan has also handed over three dossiers to the
UN Secretary General recently.

Sartaj also read out a unanimous resolution recently passed by the
National Assembly to condemn irresponsible and hostile statements
against Pakistan, by the Indian ruling leadership.

Earlier, lawmakers strongly condemned the statement of Indian Prime
Minister and urged the government to take appropriate action against
the hostile neighbour at international fora.

Rehman Malik said 80 per cent challenges being faced by the country
were conspired by India and it was indulged in violating charter of
the United Nations by interfering and damaging sovereignty of the
member state. “With this statement, face of Modi stands exposed,” he
added.

Mushahid Hussain Sayed said the Indian PM’s statement was full of joy
and satisfaction and reflected the mindset of Indian establishment that
has not changed even after several decades.

He said India also played role in sabotaging the dialogue process between
Afghan Taliban and Afghan government initiated with the help of
Pakistan for achieving peace in the region.

Nehal Hashmi suggested to take the matter to the international court
of justice for an exemplary punishment to India.

Tahir Hussain Mashhadi said India has confessed interference in East
Pakistan and playing role in the Fall of Dhaka and urged the government
to take appropriate action against India.

Abdul Qayyum said the statement was highly condemnable and it was not
only violation of the UN Charter but also the Geneva Convention.

Among others, Shahi Syed, Kalsoom Parveen, Mushahidullah Khan and
Nasreen Jalil spoke against Modi’s statement and asked the
government to take appropriate action against India so it could
not dare to cast an evil eye on Pakistan.
