ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP): Former Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk formally handed over command of Islamabad Traffic Police to newly appointed CTO Kainat Azhar Khan during a graceful ceremony reflecting professionalism and institutional continuity.
An ITP official told APP on Saturday that Muhammad Sarfraz Virk pinned the rank on Kainat Azhar Khan and officially transferred command of the department to her.
Virk extended his best wishes to the new CTO and expressed confidence that Kainat Azhar Khan would further strengthen the traditions of Islamabad Traffic Police through her professional competence and leadership.
The occasion presented a notable example of professionalism, mutual respect and institutional harmony within Islamabad Traffic Police.
The official said it was the first time in the history of Islamabad Traffic Police that an outgoing or transferred CTO personally welcomed his successor and handed over command in such a cordial, dignified and professional manner.
