ISLAMABAD, Mar 31 (APP):Safe City Islamabad has taken the lead in providing technical support to police facilitation centres, enabling efficient public service delivery with more than 18,000 registrations completed during March 2026.
An official told APP on Tuesday that over 14,000 tenancy registrations and more than 4,000 employee registrations were carried out during the month with the help of Safe City’s integrated digital systems.
He said the initiative aimed at improving documentation, enhancing security monitoring, and ensuring better record management across the federal capital.
He said Safe City’s technical assistance had significantly streamlined the registration process at police facilitation centres, making it more accessible and user-friendly for citizens.
The official added that these efforts were part of a broader strategy to strengthen surveillance, improve data integration, and support law enforcement agencies in maintaining law and order.
He said the system also helped in timely verification of tenants and employees, which played a crucial role in crime prevention and identification of suspicious activities.
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police reiterated its commitment to utilizing modern technology to enhance public safety and ensure efficient service delivery to citizens.
