Sadiq vows upholding neutrality after winning elections

ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (APP): Former Speaker National Assembly
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Sunday vowed to uphold neutrality after winning
the elections of coveted slot of Speaker National Assembly.
Talking to media persons outside Parliament House after filing
nomination papers, he said, if elected as speaker, he would try his best to conduct the proceedings of Lower House in a neutral, impartial manner
and even prove better from his previous stint as speaker.
Responding to a question, he said almost all the parliamentary groups
except Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) would cast their votes in his favour.
Pakistan Peoples Party (Parliamentarians), Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl
(JUI-F), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) and Awami National Party
(ANP) have assured their unconditional support to him, he said.
Ayaz said, he was holding meeting with the leadership of different
political parties to seek their support.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq thanked Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the party
leadership for nominating him again as PML (N) candidate for the slot
of Speaker National Assembly.
Responding to a question, he said he has filed six nomination papers
for to slot of Speakers.
