ISLAMABAD, Nov 8 (APP): Former Speaker and Member of National Assembly
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq Sunday filed his nomination paper for the election to the office of Speaker, National Assembly.
He presented his nomination paper to the Secretary National Assembly.
Members of the National Assembly including Zahid Hamid, Tallal
Chaudhary, Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, Muhammad Junaid Anwaar Chaudhary and Abdul Hakeem Baloch proposed the name of Sardar Ayaz Sadiq for the election of Speaker, National Assembly.
It is pertinent to mention that according to the schedule announced by
National Assembly Secretariat last date for filling of nomination paper
for the election to the office of Speaker National Assembly was
November, 8 before 12:00 pm.
Only three candidates including Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Shafqat Mahmood,
Syed Ghazi Gulab Jamal have filed the nomination papers for the election
to the office of Speaker within specified time for filing of nomination paper.
