Russian Consul General calls on Sindh Governor

KARACHI, Sep 05 (APP):Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Wednesday
said that Karachi was the ideal city for foreign investments where highly
qualified, experienced and hard-working workforce was available.
Talking to Russian Consul General Aleksandr G. Khozin who called
on him at the Governor house, the governor said the present government intends to strengthen mutual relations with Russia which would help eliminate poverty and unemployment from the region.
He said investment in sectors including agriculture,
infrastructure, education, health and others of Sindh would prove
beneficial for the investors. The incumbent government would fully
cooperate and assist the investors.
The meeting also discussed Pakistan-Russia mutual relations and
other issues of mutual interests.
Earlier, Russian Consul General Aleksandr G. Khozin felicitated
Imran Ismail for being appointed as Sindh Governor and expressed the
hope that his appointment would strengthen bilateral relations of
Pakistan and Russia.
