Rs310 mln fraud case: Court extends interim bail of Kingdom Valley owner until July 10
ISLAMABAD, Jul 03 (APP):The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Friday extended the interim bail of Kingdom Valley owner Ghulam Hussain Shahid until July 10 in a case involving allegations of fraud worth Rs310 million linked to the sale of plots and property files.
The matter was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Ali Warraich. During the hearing, the investigating officer requested additional time to complete the investigation. The officer informed the court that further inquiry was required before the case could proceed.
After hearing the request, the court approved the police application and extended the interim bail of the accused until July 10. The hearing was then adjourned to the same date.
According to the case record, Ghulam Hussain Shahid faces allegations of obtaining Rs310 million from individuals in exchange for plots and property files that were allegedly not delivered as promised. The complainants claim that the money was collected through transactions related to real estate investments.
Police are continuing their investigation into the allegations and are examining the relevant documents and financial records connected to the case.
A criminal case has been registered against the accused at Kohsar Police Station in Islamabad. Authorities are expected to submit further progress on the investigation at the next hearing.
The court will take up the matter again on July 10, when investigators are likely to present updates regarding the status of the inquiry and any findings gathered during the ongoing investigation.
