Romanian envoy pays farewell call on Defence Production Minister

ISLAMABAD, June 17 (APP): Outgoing Ambassador of Romania
Emilian Ion Friday paid a farewell call on Minister for Defence Production
Rana Tanveer Hussain.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest and
increased cooperation in diverse fields, said a press release issued here.
The envoy underlined the need for frequent exchange of
Parliamentary delegations between the two countries.

Emilian admired cultural values of Pakistan and said he would write
a full chapter on Pakistan in his ‘Memoir,’ covering the period he stayed here.

In that chapter, the envoy said, he would present true soft image of
Pakistan.

Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain appreciated ambassador for
playing active role in enhancing ties between the two countries.

He mentioned that for the first time Ministry of Defence Production
and Romania were going to sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
