ISLAMABAD, Dec 21 (APP):Member National Assembly Riaz Fatyana was unanimously elected on Friday as the chairman of National Assembly Committee on Law and Justice.
After the election, the newly elected chairman thanked members for reposing trust in him and promised that he will ensure to take along all the members while taking important decisions.
He said that today people had desired cheaper and speedy justice. He ruled out midterm elections and said
that present assembly and the government would complete its constitutional terms. He assured the members that the
committee would speed up enacting of legislation.
Opposition leader and newly elected chairman of Public Account Committee congratulated Riaz Fatyana for his
election as a chairman of the committee.
He expressed the hope that Riaz Fatyana will take along all the members of the committee. He said that his party will extend cooperation to Riaz Fatyana for public friendly good legislation.
