ISLAMABAD, Oct 20 (APP): Renowned researcher Dr Abdul Rauf on Monday revealed that a significant portion of Pakistan’s population refrains from voting during elections, without realizing its implications.
Addressing a press conference at the National Press Club while sharing findings of his recent study on voting behavior, Dr Rauf said that around 50 percent of citizens do not use their right of voting, said a press release.
“Many voter thinks that there is no harm in not voting”, he added.
He urged citizens to actively participate in the electoral process, emphasizing that casting one’s vote is a national responsibility essential for the country’s progress and prosperity.
