RAWALPINDI, Aug 21 (APP): Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has organized an exhibition, ‘The Pakistan Show’ in Dallas, United States.
RCCI spokesman on Sunday informed that Deputy Mayor Frisco, Tim Nelson, Consulate General of Pakistan in Houston Afzaal Mehmood, President RCCI
Mian Humayun Parvez, President Handicraft Association of Pakistan and Vice Chairman Fair and Exhibition Khurshid Barlas, President Pakistan USA business forum Hafeez Khan and a large number of trader’s community were present at the inauguration ceremony.
Mian Humayun Parvez in a statement issued here said that introduction of Pakistani products would help promote business and trade activity in the country, besides strengthening economic ties. “We are amazed by the gathering and the interest of local people in the exhibition. Families are also visiting and the response is overwhelming” he added.
Purpose of holding such exhibitions is to attract foreign companies to purchase Pakistani products and to place orders for enhancing bilateral business relations, he said.
The products displayed at exhibition include furniture, jewelry, gemstone, textile goods, electrical appliances, solar panels, interior decoration and information technology items. The real estate
sector has also been given a separate pavilion in the exhibition this time, he added.
