Rashid meets Khamenei’s advisor, hands over President Alvi’s letter

ISLAMABAD, March 7 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, who is currently on a visit to Iran, Thursday met with Advisor to Supreme Leader of Iran on International Affairs Dr Ali Akbar Velayati.
The minister handed over a letter of President Dr Arif Alvi for Supreme Leader of Iran Ayatollah Khamenei, said a press release received here from Tehran.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed issues relating to bilateral cooperation, enhancing economic activity through rail connectivity, border security and regional stability.
Sheikh Rashid highlighted the deep rooted historical relations between the two countries and emphasized on enhancing bilateral relations through enhanced economic activity and rail connectivity.
