Rana Sanaullah must account for 14 murders: Chohan

LAHORE, Oct 08 (APP):Provincial Information and Culture Minister Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan Monday said that MNA Rana Sanaullah Khan must account for the alleged murder of innocent civilians in Model Town.
Responding to a media statement by the former law minister, Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said, criticism did not suit a person who allegedly murdered people in Model Town, adding that Rana Sanaullah and company would have to be answerable for the 14 murders.
Chohan said Rana Sanaullah was trying to conceal corruption and dishonesty of his leaders through such statements. He said it was astonishing to hear criticism from what he described ‘hardened criminals.’
He said it was Rana Sanaullah only who dared to call it a supposition after siphoning 14 billion rupees and 3000 kanals of land in Ashiana Housing Scheme scandal, adding that the Sharifs and their followers would have to account for plundering billions of rupees while in power.
Earlier, the Information Minister, while reacting to PML-N leader Asif Kirmani’s statement said the PTI government had to face the brunt of wrong policies of the former PML-N government.
He said the PML-N leadership had been trying in vain to divert people’s attention form billions of dollars corruption. He said the Sharifs were responsible for spiraling down country’s exports from 25 billion rupees to 18 billion.
Fayaz-ul-Hassan Chohan said followers of the Sharifs were trying to render the NAB controversial, adding that they would not succeed in their machinations.
