ISLAMABAD, May 16 (APP): Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan has congratulated Pakistan’s national women’s cricket team after they completed a dominant clean sweep against Zimbabwe by winning the T20 series, praising the players, coaching staff and management for their outstanding all round performance and disciplined teamwork that brought further glory to the country.
In a statement issued on Saturday, Rana Mashhood said the national women’s side had displayed exceptional cricket throughout the tour, securing both the ODI and T20 series in emphatic fashion.
He said the team’s batters and bowlers performed in complete harmony, while the overall team effort reflected commitment, discipline and professionalism.
The PMYP chairman also appreciated the efforts of the team management, coaching staff and former cricketer Wahab Riaz for their role in the squad’s success.
