ISLAMABAD, June 6 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain has said
that Ramazan ul Mubarak is a source of purification of personal and
collective lives and the fulfillment of these objectives can make
the country a place of happiness and peace.
“The meaning of abstinence is to live the life in submission
to Allah Almighty. The month of Ramazan ul Mubarak provides us an
opportunity to get disciplined by following the same way of life,”
the President said in his message to nation on the advent of Ramazan
ul Mubarak 2016/1437 Hijra.
President Mamnoon said, “In personal lives, we have to transform
ourselves as worshippers of Allah Almighty through self-training and
purification to perform obligations of Haqooq-Allah (rights of Allah
Almighty).
In our collective lives, we have to get ourselves disciplined
so as to fulfill the obligations of Haqooq-ul-Ibaad (rights of
people), without which, their is no forgiveness possible,” he said.
“Performing these duties, a society can become a heaven of
bliss and the issues can be resolved which are confronting the
nation,” he said.
He said Allah Almighty once again has given us opportunity to
benefit from the blessings of Ramazan ul Karim, for which we
express gratitude to Him and also felicitated the entire Muslim
Ummah and Pakistani nation on the advent of this blessed month.
“According to our last Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (Peace be upon
Him), Ramazan ul Mubarak is the month of Allah Almighty which has
the purpose of inculcating forbearance in humans through physical
and spiritual prayers so that they become rightful for Allah’s
forgiveness and mercy,” he said.
He urged upon the countrymen to pray for the elimination of
terrorism and extremism and also for the relief of Muslims suffering
from this problem. Allah Almighty will accept our prayers during the
precious days and nights of Ramazan ul Mubarak.
He prayed to Allah Almighty “to develop in us discipline,
unity and affinity for each other and bless us all with the bounties
of Ramazan ul Mubarak.”
