ISLAMABAD, Dec 06 (APP): Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi on Saturday paid rich tribute to Major Shabbir Sharif Shaheed on his 54th martyrdom anniversary, honoring his extraordinary courage and unwavering devotion to Pakistan.

The minister said that Major Shabbir Sharif, who laid down his life during the 1971 war, remained a symbol of national pride and unmatched bravery.

“He sacrificed his life for the homeland, and the entire nation salutes his courage,” the minister added.

Hanif Abbasi said that Pakistan’s valiant soldiers have always placed the country’s security above everything else. “Heroes like Shabbir Sharif represent the true spirit and strength of Pakistan,” he added.

He reaffirmed that the martyred officer embraced shahadat while fighting fearlessly for the nation. “Our armed forces continue to stand as an unbreakable shield against all enemies,” the Minister emphasized.

The minister said the nation is proud of its brave soldiers and their everlasting sacrifices. “We owe our freedom and peace to these heroes, and their legacy will continue to inspire future generations,” he added.
