ISLAMABAD, Aug 13 (APP): Rabi ul Awal moon has not been sighted and Eid Milad un Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) will fall on August 26, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad announced on Thursday.
The announcement was made following a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee in Islamabad, chaired by Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the 1st Rabi ul Awwal 1448 AH, shall commence from Saturday, the August 15, 2026.
Representatives from the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the Ministry of Science and Technology and other concerned institutions also provided their technical support in the matter.
