Rabbani stopped lawmakers quoting dictators in Senate proceedings

ISLAMABAD Nov 4 (APP): Senate Chairman Mian Raza Rabbani on
Wednesday stopped lawmakers from quoting dictators in their debates
during the Senate proceedings.
Mian Raza Rabbani issued instructions when Minister of State
for National Health Services and Regulations Saira Afzal Tarar
quoted former dictator Pervez Musharraf in her debate.
“Who is Musharraf?” Rabbani asked and passed remarks, “I
will not allow any parliamentarian to quote any dictator in
future in their debates in the House.”
