MULTAN, Jan 27 (APP)::Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Sunday attended the Quran Khawani of late PTI MPA Malik Mazhar Abbas Raan.
The foreign minister offered “Dua” for the departed soul of MPA Mazhar Abbas Raan and recalled that the late PTI MPA had always struggled for the cause of the people.Mazhar Abbas had always worked for the uplift of the area and took many initiatives to resolve public problems.
Atif Abbas Raan, the elder son of late MPA Mazhar Abbas Raan, thanked the local people and also assured them that he would continue the mission of his father.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi also tied turban to Atif Abbas Raan. Qari Muhammad Hanif Jalandhri addressed the Quran Khawani ceremony.
Provincial minister for energy Dr Akhtar Malik, Parliamentary secretary for finance and MNA Makhdoomzada Zain Hussain Qureshi, MPA Tariq Abdullah, Muhammad Iqbal Khakwani, Shahid-ul-Hassan,
Rai Mansab, Khalid Javed Warraich, DG Anti Corruption DG Khan Agha Ali Abbas and a large number of citizens also attended the Quran Khawani ceremony.
